Walt Disney Records Releases “Take On The World”, The “Girl Meets World” Theme Song

The Disney Channel is gearing up for the debut of its new family sitcom Girl Meets World by releasing some catchy music to go with it. On Monday Walt Disney Records released “Take On The World”, the Girl Meets World theme song. In true Disney Channel fashion, the show’s two stars, Rowan Blanchard and Sabrina Carpenter perform the song. Could this be the start of two new teen pop careers? Well, since the Boy Meets World spinoff is being co-produced by Hanna Montana’s It’s A Laugh Productions, we think it’s fair to say that there is a strong possibility.

The music has gotten a warm response so far, but if you hear it and it’s not your thing, there are plenty of non-singing favorites from Boy Meets World returning to their famous roles. To complete the cast, Rowan and Sabrina are joined by Boy Meets World stars Ben Savage, Danielle Fishel, Rider Strong, William Daniels, Betsy Randle, William Russ and Lee Norris as Minkus. We’ll be checking it out. Will you?
