As Many Of You already know Aerosmith front-man turned American Idol judge, Steven Tyler took to the highly rated Fox airwaves of Idol to premiere  the music video for his new solo song, “(It) Feels So Good.”  The video was directed by Ray Kay. He is already known for directing for the likes of Britney Spears, Lady Gaga, Melanie C, Justin Bieber and Adam Lambert among others. Filming took place in April.

The song features background vocals from Interscope recording artist, Nicole Scherzinger, who also appears in the video singing with Tyler . While Aerosmith and Steven have been signed to Columbia Records off and on for a majority of their career, Idol’s music for this season is being released by Nicole’s label, Interscope, which explains the connection. As we reported earlier today, Nicole Scherzinger and 50 Cent will be performing their new single, “Right There” on May 19th on American Idol.
