Mulch-platinum singer/song writer, P!nk has just released the video for one of the coolest songs on her album, The Truth About Love. That song is the duet between her, and Fun. front-man, Nate Ruess called “Just Give Me A Reason”. It fittingly describes feelings that paint the pictures behind the themes of the album’s title. Those lyrics describe hoping for reasons to hold onto a cherished, but strained relationship, something P!nk has expressed many times in interviews and her other songs, in regards to her marriage. The song’s mood is then pushed to a higher level with the soulful and powerful production of Jeff Bhasker on the track. Jeff has become widely known as one of the creative forces behind helping mold the sound of Fun. on their critically acclaimed album, Some Nights. That album became one of the most successful of 2012, thanks to their hits “We Are Young”, and the title track. With that said, it is that much more exciting to see the premiere of the video for what is sure to be another Fun. inspired Bhasker hit in this new chapter for P!nk.
The video, which was released today on VEVO, was filmed in November of 2012. Fans got their first glimpse of it, after photos from the shoot were posted on Twitter. In the pictures, Pink is lying in bed with her husband Carey Hart who is the featured love interest in the clip. However, after P!nk learned of the photo leak, she was extremely disappointed and the photos were quickly deleted.
