Video Premiere “Hey Porche” By Nelly
After rebooting the plans for the project several times St. Louis Hip Hop star Nelly has finally released the first music video from his forthcoming album, M.O.! The video is for the light and fun Pop single, “Hey Porche”, which was first released in January. In the Ethan Lader directed video, Nelly rightfully plays a mechanic, hard at work on a classic car in the hot sun. He then wastes no time in trying to charm a woman he sees while outside, as the two then proceed to go cruising in the car throughout the remainder of the video. The video first premiered on March 1st on Nelly’s official VEVO channel.
“Hey Porche,” which was produced by DJ Frank-E is the first official single released from, M.O. despite the project being in the works since 2011. During that time various sources have reported that Nelly has been seen working with everyone from Dr. Dre to Detail on various tracks. However, despite all the talk from previous years, plans for the album’s direction changed, and as we previously reported the project has been left in limbo for one reason or another. Now it appears that Nelly is finally getting the traction he needed to finally complete the album, not just because of the new video, but also because of all the good news he had to report in recent interviews. At the 55rg Annual Grammy Awards, Nelly gave several interviews stating that the finished version of M.O. will feature a duet with singer Nelly Furtado, as well as collaborations with the likes of Trey Songz, T.I., and Akon. He also confirmed that the project features production by the likes of Pharrell Williams and Rico Love as well. Nelly’s M.O. album is finally set for a June 2013 release ffrom Derrty/Republic Records!
