Universal Music Group Teams Up With Russell Simmons, Brian Robbins And Steve Rifkind To Form All Def Music!

There is some big news coming out of Universal Music Group today! UMG has partnered with Russell Simmons and Brian Robbins’ All Def Digital, the new multichannel YouTube video service, and veteran music industry entrepreneur Steve Rifkind (Loud Records, SRC Records) to create All Def Digital, described as “the first label created to sign, develop and promote artists on YouTube.”  Rifkind will serve as President and CEO of All Def Music and All Def Digital Management, which will launch in third quarter 2013.  Among the first signings to All Def Digital Management is YouTube star “Spoken Reasons. the YouTube channel is also developing an unscripted music-themed show, “Lemonade,” with Asher Roth as well.
