Gym Class Heroes Fueled By Ramen Records
Alternative Hip Hop group Gym Class Heroes have enjoyed some of their greatest mainstream success with the first singles from their latest project The Paper Cut Chronicles II . The album’s first single, “Stereo Hearts” featuring Maroon 5’s Adam Levine topped several charts, and went on to achieve triple platinum status. The album’s follow up single helped introduce us to the sexy sounds of British Pop singer, Neon Hitch on “A** Back Home.” The song became the band’s second top 5 Pop smash from the album. Now as the group prepares to release the fan favorite album cut, “The Fighter”, they hope to keep the hits coming. This one famously features the infectious sounds of OneRepublic front-man, Ryan Tedder, who also serves as the producer of the song as well. The music video for the song was filmed in April and features the guys of Gym Class appropriately found in a gym with Tedder in a boxing training scene, clearly making reference to the song’s title and Rocky inspired lyrics. The video was filmed in late April, but as the radio begins to play the track, Gym Class thought they would release the “pre-music video” video. Travie and Disashi from Gym Class Heroes join Ryan Tedder to perform an acoustic version of ‘The Fighter’ on the set of the music video shoot. Look for the video premiere coming soon!
