Tommy Page Makes Billboard.com’s “1000 Number Ones!”

We would like to give a quick shout out to one of the coolest guys in the music business, our friend and supporter, Tommy Page. Music fans will remember Tommy best from his #1 hit single, “I’ll Be Your Everything” co written by and featuring New Kids On The Block. Recently Tommy’s Billboard ranking made Billboard.com’s “1000 No. 1’s”. Tommy came in at #716, topping the Billboard charts on April 14th, 1990! During his time as an artist he recorded 3 albums, and  sold a total of 3 million records world wide.  This in part was thanks to the success of his hit, which allowed him to successfully tour with New Kids On The Block, and even guest star on the hit sitcom, Full House in 1992. After breaking from the industry in 1995 to attend NYU’s Stern School of Business, he returned in 1997 to work as VP of promotions at Warner Bros for eight years, before switching to VP of A&R.

While in the role of label executive Tommy has been able to have an influence in helping shape and or guide the careers of artists like Michael Buble’, Alanis Morissette, Josh Groban, Charice, Green Day, Ashley Tisdale, David Foster and others. Tommy even made an appearance in our 2010 video, “Discover Charice.”, about Oprah and David Foster’s discovery of the YouTube sensation, Charice Pempengco . As Tommy mentioned in the video above, he does now in fact work for Billboard Magazine. He is now Associate Publisher for Billboard, after leaving his long time post at Reprise/Warner Bros.
