In case you missed it, The Skins unveiled the music video for their new single “Bury Me” [feat. D.R.A.M.] on Complex on Friday. The cinematic visual is a seductive vignette that seamlessly entwines with the track’s captivating style of Pop and Rock laced R&B. Watch it above.

“Bury Me” is the group’s critically acclaimed first single from their forthcoming debut EP, Still Sleep [American/Republic Records]—available at all digital retailers on December 16. Quickly becoming a tastemaker favorite, THE SKINS have recently been featured by the FADER and Pigeons & Planes as well as landing on Rolling Stone‘s November ‘Artists You Need To Know’. Next up, they’re performing at a NoDAPL show at Brooklyn Bowl Monday December 12.

Stirring up critical excitement, NY Mag’s “The Cut” dubbed The Skins, “Brooklyn’s Best Rock Band” in an in-depth feature. They’ve been quietly and diligently working towards that title since 2012. Comprised of three siblings—Bay Li [lead vocals], Kaya Nico [vocals, bass], and Reef Cole [drums]—and two friends who became “family” Daisy Spencer [guitar] and Russ Chell [guitar, synth], ranging from the ages of 17 to 24, the group first met in school. They started jamming together, immersing themselves in the music. Bay Li proudly recalls ditching her high school graduation to go on tour with The Heavy during those early days. A year later, they made their SXSW debut in 2013 and caught the attention of Republic Records. The group spent the next two years cutting their teeth on the road with the likes of Albert Hammond Jr. and Jake Bugg and further honing a singular style.
