The Muppets Are Part Of “Cee Lo’s Magic Moment” To Get In The Holiday Spirit
Things just keep getting busier and busier for current Voice Coach Cee Lo Green lately. His role on the reality music competition show aside, Green, is in the Sony Pictures Animation Studios film, Hotel Transylvania, is currently developing a new sitcom for NBC, and working on a new Goodie Mob rap album. Apparently, that’s not enough though, because now more details have surfaced about the high profile guests on his up and coming holiday album.
The album entitled: Cee Lo’s Magic Moment will reportedly feature major special guest stars like, The Muppets, Rod Stewart, vocal group, Straight No Chaser, and Christina Aguilera. The album is also set to be filmed as a one time concert that will take place from Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino on October 10th. The Parent company of Atlantic Records, Cee Lo’s records label, Warner Music Group will then air the special online via their “Warner Sound” Youtube channel on November 26th.
“You’ll really enjoy it,” Green told Rolling Stonerecently about the album. “It’s definitely a great soulful spin on Christmas classics. I did a version of ‘You’re a Mean One, Mr. Grinch.’ That says a lot. Just ponder on that.” Green also tackles songs like “White Christmas,” “Run Rudolph Run,” “All I Want For Christmas” and “Silent Night.”
We’ll be sure to keep you posted as the date approaches. We’ll be watching. Will you?
