Sony Launches ITunes Rival

Allaccess.com reports that Sony is preparing to release the US version of “Music Unlimited” powered by Qriocity, a new music service intended to be the next great rival of ITunes.  The technology has already been launched in the UK, Ireland, France, Germany, and Spain.  While at the Mediem conference in Cannes France, Sony Network Entertainment CEO Tim Schaaff commented on the developing venture by saying, “We took a long time looking at music before jumping in.”  The new music service is expected to be available for Sony Playstation 3, Blu-Ray Disc player, Bravia TV, personal Computers, and smart phones with Android operating Systems.
