Sean Paul Teams up WIth New Comer Alexis Jordan For New Single

Atlantic Records just sent us over some new music hot off the presses by Dance Hall super star Sean Paul. The song is called “Got 2 Luv U.” It features America’s Got Talent Season 1 contestant Alexis Jordan. There is little more information available to us about the details of Sean’s project right now. That being said we do know that after turning the judges heads performing a cover of “I Have Nothing” on America’s Got Talent , the young singer also got the attention of the production team Stargate. The Production duo signed her to their imprint with Jay-Z’s Roc Nation label called Star Roc in 2008. Since being signed to Star Roc, Jordan has released two single’s, “Happiness” in 2010, and “Good Girl” in 2011.

One thing we do know is that Sean Paul is far from a stranger to duets. He was a featured performer on Jay Sean’s “Do You Remember” along with rapper/producer, Lil Jon in 2009. Also, earlier in 2006 he helped boost the career of a then still relatively new Keyshia Cole, by sharing the spotlight on his hit “(When You Gonna) Give It Up To Me” that was featured on Summit Entertainment’s Step Up movie soundtrack. That track served as a staple for both Paul and Cole’s career. Only time will tell if “Got To Luv U” will have a similar impact.
