BRITISH BAND RIXTON PREMIERE THE VIDEO FOR THEIR NEW SINGLE “HOTEL CEILING” ON VEVO

Following on the success of their debut platinum hit single and U.K. No. 1 “Me And My Broken Heart” and their U.K. Top 10 follow up “Wait On Me” — British sensations Rixton premiered the video for their new single “Hotel Ceiling” yesterday on Vevo.  The video is directed by Clarence Fuller (The Ceremonies, Azealia Banks) check it out below.  Says Rixton’s Jake Roche, “we chose not to be in the video as we didn’t want to distract from the actors who were really able to hone in on this story and convey the meaning of our song.  Since the lyrics have a strong narrative we wanted to portray that in the video and we’re really thrilled how it turned out.”

The track is co-written by Rixton, their producer Benny Blanco (Katy Perry, Maroon 5), and Ed Sheeran and is the third single from the Manchester band’s eagerly anticipated full-length debut album Let The Road, which is available in the U.S on March 3rd, 2015 via School Boy/Giant Little Man/Mad Love/Interscope Records.  Fans who pre-order Let The Road will receive “Hotel Ceiling” as an instant download.

Rixton’s debut Me And My Broken Heart EP, featuring their multi-platinum hit single of the same title, cracked the Top 10 and Top 40 radio charts, climbed to No. 1 on the UK Singles chart and ranks one of the most Shazam-ed new tracks in the U.S., while the official video has racked up more than 45 million views on YouTube/VEVO.
