Preview P!nk’s New Album “The Truth About Love”

As P!nk is enjoying the success of her forthcoming album’s first single, “Blow Me (One Last Kiss)” hitting number one on the Hot AC radio chart recently, RCA is slowly revealing new hints of things to come on the new album, The Truth About Love as it’s September 18th release date draws near. In the past two days (September 11th and September 12th) RCA Records has uploaded 6 different lyric videos for songs on the album. It started with the songs “Try”, and “Just Give Me A Reason” on the 11th, followed by “Are We All We Are”, “Slut Like You”, “How Come You’re Not Here” and “True Love” on the 12th. Of those lyric videos two are high profile collaborations with two other acclaimed artists. The first is the song, “Just Give Me A Reason”, which was co-written and features guest vocals by Nate Rues of the Fueled By Ramen group, fun.. That track was produced by Jeff Bhasker, the creative production force behind fun.’s massively successful hit album, Some Nights.
The other collaboration lyric video comes from Lily Rose Cooper, better known to the music world as Lily Allen. Lily recently enjoyed some comeback success on T-Pain’s 2011 hit, “5’O’Clock InThe Morning” after he sampled her 2009 song, “Who’d Have Known.” That song has a connection to P!nk’s collaboration with Lily because they were both produced by Greg Kurstin, a producer who would go on to work on the majority of the entire album. Take a listen to those two tracks, as well as the others that were mentioned below. There is no doubt that P!nk fans are still in for some cool surprises before the album’s September 18th release. In Fact, P!nk’s exciting upcoming collaboration with Eminem that will be included on the album is still being kept as one of them.
