P!nk’s New Duet With Eminem: How It Came To Be

This week started off with a bang of rumors that Lady Gaga would duet with her label mate, rapper Eminem.  According to MTV News, although such a collabo would probably be pretty cool, as far as they knew it wasn’t true.  An Eminem collab that is apparently true though is his up coming duet with Pink for her latest album The Truth About Love. The eagerly awaited track is titled “Here Comes the Weekend.”  P!nk discussed how the two stars came together in a recent interview with Australia’s Herald Sun.

He said, ‘Do you want to do a song with me?’ ‘F— yeah!’ I said, ‘Do you want to do a song with me?’ and he said, ‘F— yeah!” Handshake. Nothing signed. Done.”

Other expected collaborations from The Truth About Love are expected to be with Nate Ruess, and Lilly Allen, who is now going by the name Lilly Cooper.  P!nk released the album’s current single, “Blow Me (One Last Kiss)” last month, and made news on Tuesday by becoming the next “Cover Girl”.  If all of that didn’t make her busy enough, the word is also out that she is expected  debut an unreleased song at this years MTV Video Music Awards.  We’ll be watching on Septeber 6th to see if it’s with Em.
