*NSYNC’s JC Chasez Gets Back Into Music With Some Help From Smokey Robinson

Since we have been talking about *NSYNC so much recently thanks to the success of our latest interview with group member Lance Bass, why not post one more?! This latest post comes out because one of the other members is back in the news for singing with another group of guys. Former *NSYNC front-man and songwriter, JC Chasez is back in the news these days for making a return to singing on the latest album by R&B legend Smokey Robinson. That album, Smokey And Friends has JC Chasez singing along side Smokey and other current R&B superstars, Miguel and Aloe Blacc. The super group of superstars teamed up with Smokey to cover the 1964 hit, “My Girl” he wrote for Motown group, The Temptations. This is one of the first tracks for the album that hit the news when it was made available for a free preview coutesy of Justjared.com.
As the title may suggest the album teams Smokey with his “friends” of hit makers past and present to perform updated versions of songs he wrote for The Miracles and many others. Away from collaborating with JC, Miguel and Aloe Blacc on “My Girl,” the album also features appearances from the likes of Elton John, Mary J. Blige, Steven Tyler, Jessie J, Cee-Lo Green, James Taylor and more! Smokey And Friends is available now from The Verve Music Group.
