Two remixes of “Glowing” by superstar DJ/Producer (Fedde Le Grand remix) and hot Swedish DJ duo (Cazzette Remix) are now available at all digital retailers, after a two week exclusive run at Beatport and Spotify, respectively.  Nikki performed with Fedde Le Grand last week at the Ultra Music Festival in front of 80,000 screaming fans!

Clear Channel’s network of 94 CHR radio stations kicks off a two-week “iHeartRadio Music You Should Know” on-air multi-platform Artist Integration campaign in support of “Glowing,” including a video interview that will receive premium placement across all participating station sites.   And just like that, 24-year old Nikki Williams has become the Top Of the Pops, with Cosmopolitan predicting that she is “sure to be one of the most talked-about breakthrough artists of 2013.”

“Glowing” follows the release of Nikki’s breakthrough debut song “Kill, F***, Marry,” co-written by Sia and Stargate producers duo Hermansen and Eriksen.  The viral video for “Kill, F***, Marry” has netted over 800,000 YouTube views to date. Nikki also co-wrote Demi Lovato’s new single “Heart Attack,” which flew to #1 on iTunes in 16 countries less than 24 hours after its release.

Nikki Williams comes to Island Records via Breyon Prescott’s Chameleon Entertainment joint venture, with whom she signed two years ago in Los Angeles.  Under the guidance of Prescott and Aaron Phillips, Nikki emerged as a sultry new voice on collaborations with a string of Grammy Award®-winning hitmakers, including Dallas Austin, Rodney Jerkins, and Sandy Vee.  Vee shared 2010’s Best Dance Recording Grammy® for Rihanna’s “Only Girl (In the World),” with writers-producers Stargate, who went on to co-write and produce “Kill, F***, Marry.

L.A. was worlds away from Nikki’s real home.  Born and raised in Port Elizabeth, South Africa, she was performing for family and friends at home and in church by age seven.  When post-apartheid crime ravaged her hometown, Nikki and her sister and parents relocated to the unlikeliest place, Nashville.  She transitioned into her teens there, a flame-haired Afrikaner at Ravenwood High School in the land of the Grand Ole Opry.

After-school marathon country songwriting sessions consumed her interest, and it turned out she was darn good at it.  By junior year, she was signed to a publishing deal with Sony ATV.  By 18, she was supporting herself.  Her song “Fly Away” (inspired by an older boyfriend) was featured in the film Country Strong starring Gwyneth Paltrow.  And Nikki co-wrote “Like My Mother Does,” performed in 2011 by American Idol finalist Laura Alaina.

When not working on her debut album, Nikki is out on the road, sampling her music before a voracious crowd, hungry for her trademark candor and explosive stage presence.  She’ll be hard to pin down for a while, but that’s a good thing, she says.  “I’m still working stuff out,” Williams confesses.  “But if you want to find me, I’ll be in the diviest bar of whichever city I’m in.”
