New Kids On The Block Announce New Music And “The Package Tour”
The Package Tour
A nice explosion of goodness happened in the world of Pop music today. The New Kids On The Block Hit On Air With Ryan Seacrest and ABC’s The View for two major announcements. Following the super successful NKOTBSB tour with Backstreet Boys, the group have announced that they now plan to hit the road again on “The Package Tour”. They call it the package tour because NKOTB fully intends to give fans the whole package!
To do that they’re teaming up with other Boy Band vets like 98 Degrees, and 90s R&B crooners BoysII Men for a nation wide summer tour, and within hours it’s become one of the hottest new stories in the music world. All parties involved are excited and it looks like the show is setting up to be a show stopper!
“Ladies, we’re coming for you,” said NKOTB member Donnie Wahlberg. “This is going to be the craziest year yet-the single, the album, the tour with 98 Degrees and Boyz II Men … We can’t wait to give fans ‘The Package!’”
“We are really excited to get back on the road together and tour with our friends in NKOTB and Boyz II Men. Looking forward to playing our hits and trying out some of our new tracks too,” said 98 Degrees’ Nick Lachey.
“We couldn’t be more excited to join New Kids On The Block and 98 Degrees on ‘The Package Tour.’ This summer is going to be fun and fans will not want to miss it,” said Shawn Stockman. Wanya Morris agreed saying, “This has been in the works for a while… ‘The Package’ is on its way, and we’re going to deliver.” Added Nate Morris, “We plan on bringing it, mark your calendars.”
An added bonus is that when fans come out to see the guys, it’s very likely that they will be treated to some new tunes! This is because The Package tour will come on the heals of their new album 10 which is ready and waiting for fans to enjoy. NKOTB is even all set to release the album’s first single “Remix (I Like The)” on January 28th. We’ll keep you posted on details as we learn them.
