- Jason Derulo “Don’t Wanna Go Home” Beluga Heights/Warner Bros. Records
Its official, after getting some recent buzz around the music industry, Jason Derulo’s new song has finally arrived! The song is called “Don’t Wanna Go Home.” It is a fun dance track that was made for the clubs. Just like Jason sampled Imogen Heap “Hide And Seek” for his debut single, “Whatcha Say”, he uses the art of sampling for his new album’s first single as well. “Don’t Wanna Go Home” actually samples two songs.
The music instrumental samples the 1993 Dance hit, “Show Me Love” by Robin S., also the lyrics make references to the Jamaican folk song “Day-O (The Bannana Boat Song)” It was produced by production duo, The Fliptones, who had worked with Jason on his debut album as well as when he wrote for Making The Band 4’s Donnie Klang among many others. “Don’t Wanna Go Home” is from Jason Derulo’s new forthcoming album, Future History, coming soon from Beluga Heights/Warner Bros. Records! Keep checking in with Clizbeats.com for more details
