The Epic Label Group includes former Jive artists that he used to over see at LaFace and Arista in Year’s past like Pink, OutKast and Usher. Other Jive Artists like Britney were moved over to RCA Records Prior to moving to Sony Music Entertainment Doug Morris and Antonio “LA” Reid worked at Sony Music’s largest competition, The Universal Music Group. Morris was the head of the entire Universal Music Group, while Reid was head of UMG’s Island Def Jam Music Group, Ironically “LA” was replaced at Island Def Jam by long time Jive Records executive, Barry Weise.
Britney’s former Jive label mates, Chris Brown and T-Pain also are releasing singles from RCA around this time. “Criminal” is produced by Britney’s long time hit maker, Max Martin and his partner, Shellback.
