Gym Class Heroes Featuring Neon Hitch "Ass Back Home" Decaydance/Fueled By Ramen/Atlantic Records

Alternative Hip Hop Group, Gym Class Heroes has recently released their second music video from their latest album, The Papercut Chronicles II. That video is for the upbeat relationship song, “Ass Back Home” (Or “Get Yourself Back Home” as Radio Edit). The song describes the life of the group’s front-man, Travie McCoy as he tries to maintain a serious relationship, while also heavily touring the country with his band

We first told you about the song after it was first released to ITunes on November 1st. It is now the official follow up to the band’s platinum number one hit, “Stereo Hearts” featuring Maroon5’s Adam Levine. “Ass Back Home”features British singer, Neon Hitch, Neon Hitch is a developing singer/songwriter signed with Warner Bros. Records. She was discovered on Myspace by Pop hit maker, Benny Blanco who is one of the album’s main producers. (including this song)  It was through working with Benny that she did not only work with Gym Class Heroes, but she also co-wrote and sang background vocals on “Blah, Blah, Blah” by Ke$ha. Blanco also was the co-writer and producer of “Stereo Hearts.”

The song’s official video was directed by Dugan O’Neal, and was premiered on YouTube in early December of last year.
