(Dec. 1, 2014 – New York, NY)  Multi-platinum Grammy®-nominated hip-hop icon Fabolous – considered by insiders to be one of the best bar-for-bar lyricists in the game – returns to the front lines on Christmas Day with THE YOUNG OG PROJECT.  The digitally-only album from Fabolous – new member of the Roc Nation Family, the face of the Rocawear BLAK Fall/Winter campaign, and featured in the new all-star Beats by Dr. Dre #soloselfie tv advertising campaign – will be released December 25th on the Desert Storm/Def Jam label, at iTunes and other platforms.  “Lituation” is the first street leak from THE YOUNG OG PROJECT, and the instant grat track for iTunes pre-orders of the album.

iTunes pre-orders for THE YOUNG OG PROJECT will start on December 15th.  A snippet of THE YOUNG OG PROJECT album trailer premieres Monday, December 1st, exclusively on social networking site Keek.com, at Fab’s account: @myfabolouslife.  The full-length trailer will be released Tuesday, December 2nd on www.myfabolouslife.com.

THE YOUNG OG PROJECT is Fab’s long-awaited follow-up to Loso’s Way, the first #1 Soundscan chart debut of his career (August 2009).  Loso’s Way, the second Desert Storm/ Def Jam album by original Desert Storm artist Fab (and his fifth studio album overall), provided an intimate glimpse into the rise of the Brooklyn-born rapper, exploring the perils that came with managing the transition from Bed-Stuy street life to one of legitimacy.  The album’s first single, the RIAA gold “Throw It In The Bag” featuring The-Dream (produced by Tricky Stewart) rose to #2 Rap, #4 R&B, and #14 on the Billboard Hot 100.  The track went on to win Viewer’s Choice honors at the 2009 BET Hip-Hop Awards.

Between 2010 and 2013, Fabolous was heard on five mixtapes, including the classic hip-hop trilogy, The SOUL TapeThe SOUL Tape 2, and The SOUL Tape 3.  He was also a featured artist on over a dozen singles, starting with the RIAA platinum Top 10 crossover hit “Say Aah” by Trey Songz, as well as tracks with Ne-Yo (“Crazy Love” and “Should Be You”), Lloyd BanksDJ Drama (the #12 rap hit “Oh My”), DJ KhaledJoe BuddenThe Game, and others.  Fabolous has scored multiple chart-topping albums including his gold debut From Nothing to Something, his RIAA platinum Billboard chart-topping single “Make Me Better” featuring Ne-Yo, and sold- out 30-city tour, “Life Is So Exciting.”
