TMZ broke the news yesterday that a 31-year-old Brandon Howard claimed to be Michael Jackson’s son. The strange thing about it is, at least at the moment it’s looking to be true. According the DNA test results that were unveiled today via Filmon.com, there is a 99.9% chance that Michael Jackson is his father.
Despite sounding far fetched, this is being considered as real. He is the son of Miki Howard, whom Joe Jackson represented in the 1980s. Sources close to Brandon told TMZ that Miki met the king of pop in 1982, and Brandon was born soon after. Although he grew up in Cleveland, he now lives in Miami where he makes a living as a singer, and looks hauntingly similar to the 1980s likeness of Michael Jackson. He also sounds like him when you hear him sing and speak. This is truly something.
TMZ reports that Brandon has already done work with rapper/producer Akon. This is very significant because Akon is one of the last people producing music with Michael for Jackson’s posthumously released final album. Akon even joins Jackson on the album’s
Estate lawyer Howard Weitzman tells TMZ, “We’ve never even heard from him,” adding, “Any deadline for claiming to be Michael’s child has long since passed.”
