Maroon 5 Crash Several Real Life LA Weddings With Surprise Performances In “Sugar” Music Video

Maroon 5 captured everything that makes us smile about weddings with the release of their video for “Sugar”. As you’ll see the band used their celebrity and talent to serve as the wedding band for several real life weddings across LA. As explained at the start of the video, Adam and the boys teamed up with video director David Dobkin to drive around and surprise several unsuspecting couples who enjoyed the unique privilege of rocking out to their latest single, making each reception something to remember.  Excited, Adam Levine chatted with Rolling Stone about pulling it off.

“It was an out of body experience,” Levine says of the shoot in a press release. “I had no idea I would be affected by the overwhelming reactions we received from the couples and guests. Being able to create an unforgettable experience for several people was the highlight of it all.”

“It was one of the great experiences of my career making the ‘Sugar’ video with Adam and the boys,” Dobkin exclaimed. “Literally lightning in a bottle.”

Dobkin, who’s been a long time friend of Levine’s went on to explain that this collaboration was a decade of searching for the right project to create together.
