-
November 4, 2016 – (Burbank, CA) –Lukas Graham have shared the emotional video for their new single “You’re Not There,” continuing what’s already been a ground-breaking year for the Danish quartet. The song was written by singer Lukas Forchhammer as he was grappling with his father’s death, and the video, which premiered this morning via MTV‘s Snapchat Discover channel, brings the track’s personal lyrics to life.  The music video will also premiere in primetime tonight on MTV. The band will perform “You’re Not There” on Late Night with Seth Meyers next Wednesday, November 9, before embarking on their North American headline tour on November 10.

With over 2 billion worldwide streams this year alone, Lukas Graham has further solidified its status as one of 2016’s biggest breakout acts with the quadruple-platinum sales of hit single “7 Years” and the gold certification of the band’s self-titled debut album, which debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 and has received overwhelming critical acclaim since its April 1release. The certification makes Lukas Graham one of only four debut artists whose first albums have gone Gold this year. (The others are Kevin Gates, Rachel Platten, and Charlie Puth.)
The band are gearing up to perform at this Sunday’s 2016 MTV EMA Awards, where they are additionally nominated for several awards, before heading back stateside next week to launch their second North American headline tour. The tour runs through February 1, with tickets available now at http://www.lukasgraham.com/tour. Lukas Graham will also perform on the 2016 #iHeartJingleBall Tour, which begins on November 29.
