A Look Back At Last Night’s *NSYNC Reunion

If you have not heard already, the impossible did indeed happen when *N Sync reunited last night at the 2013 Video Music Awards. Justin Timberlake, JC Chasez, Chris Kirkpatrick, Joey Fatone, and Lance Bass shared a stage for the first time in 10 years during Justin Timberlake’s medley of nearly every one of his, greatest hits. *N Sync was included in the medley to acknowledge and honor Justin’s former band mates as a significant part of Justin’s life and career, prior to him being presented with the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award. During the performance that has now gone down in history as the longest in VMA history, *N Sync performed a medly combo of their songs “Girlfriend” (2002) and “Bye Bye Bye” (2000). After the career spanning performance, JT’s buddy Jimmy Fallon presented him with the Vanguard Award. After explaining how he did not deserve an award like it, he then went on to say how he was going to share it with his *N Sync band mates, and thanked them as well.

After that the cat was out of the bag, and there was no sense in hiding it anymore. As a result, the guys made more headlines when they launched the official @NSYNC Twitter account on Saturday. With one tweet “Mic check, mic check one.. two… is this thing on?!”, Twitter exploded with anticipation.
