(April 15, 2013 – New York, NY) Blowing up from Maryland with over 3.2 million YouTube views of “The Spotlight” and more than 4 million views of “All I Do” , Visionary Music Group (VMG) rapper Logic has now been signed to Def Jam Recordings.  On May 7th, Logic will release his new and highly anticipated (fourth) mixtape, Young Sinatra: Welcome to Forever.

One week after the release of his mixtape, Logic hits the road with fellow VMG artist C Dot Castro as well as Skizzy Mars for the “VMG Welcome to Forever Tour,” opening May 14th at Terminal West in Atlanta.  The 32-city North American tour wraps up at the Mod Club in Toronto on June 26th (See complete routing below.)

In its upcoming May/June issue, XXL magazine names Logic to its 2013 ‘Freshman 10’ cover, a highly competitive annual list that showcases the brightest young up-and-coming personalities in hip-hop.  Logic joins a notable lineup that includes Ab-Soul, Action Bronson, Angel Haze, Dizzy Wright, Joey Bada$, Kirko Bangz, Schoolboy Q, Travi$ Scott, Trinidad James, and (named as the “11th Freshman”), Chief Keef.

Young Sinatra: Welcome to Forever contains tracks produced by No I.D, Don Cannon, Arthur McArthur, Swiff D, C-Sick, Kevin Randolph, and 6ix.  The mixtape features guest appearances by C Dot Castro and fellow VMG artist Jon Bellion.

With his goal to be the “most versatile musician to ever do it” 22-year-old Maryland native Logic’s meteoric rise is driven by a massive nationwide fan base. As a self-proclaimed “compulsive perfectionist,” Logic has been honing his craft since the age of 16. His YouTube clips have collected more than 11 million views since 2010, when he released his first mixtape, Young, Broke And Infamous, featuring the singles “Stain In the Game,” “Prime,” and “BackPack.”  Logic released Young Sinatra in 2011, featuring the single and viral hit video “All I Do,” as well as “Mind Of Logic,” “Stewie Griffin,” and “Just Another Day (In My Mind).”  The Young Sinatra: Undeniable mixtape arrived in 2012, which amassed over 60,000 downloads in the first 24 hours of its release and currently has upwards of 400,000 download to date.
