Lil Wayne Health Scare Could Effect Law Suit

While we were on the road handling some music industry meetings the news broke that rapper Lil Wayne had been suffering from a bout with what has been reported to be either two seizures or migraine from dehydration while on his private jet in a span of 24 hours.  As a result, doctors have ordered him to stay with his mother at her home in Louisiana so that he could rest, stating that he wasn’t allowed to fly for at least a week.  Because of the conflicting reports, it’s hard for us to definitively report what’s happening with him and his health, but thanks to social media based well wishing from friends, it appears that he continues to be on the mend.

Wayne himself also tweeted, “Thanx for all the prayers! I am good.”

Unfortunately, in this case, “Good” is a relative term.  TMZ has now exclusively reported that Lil Wayne will not appear in court  to represent his interests in a law suit that the rapper has placed against Quincy Jones III over a documentary about the rapper that Wayne claims to be slanderous .  Instead, Wayne’s lawyer has offered to play the now infamous tape of the rapper’s deposition.  If this happens, it could actually work against Wayne,   This is because in the tape, Wayne is seen being very uncooperative, and irritated by questions asked during the deposition.
