KUWADA RELEASES OFFICIAL MUSIC VIDEO FOR “CHERRY COLA”

Sibling duo Kuwada, hailing from Hawaii, has released the official music video for beachy love song “Cherry Cola” today. Check out the video above.

Kuwada notes, “Through the video we wanted to show our upbringing, which inspired the music. From growing up on the beach, to skateboarding, to our love of classic music and instruments, we hope this video puts the viewer in a positive mood no matter what kind of day they’re having.”

Kuwada, a duo from Hawaii consisting of twin brothers Jon and Cameron Kuwada, first posted “Cherry Cola” on their Soundcloud late last summer. The track struck a chord and quickly became a viral hit, accumulating nearly 20 million combined streams to date.

Speaking on the song, the brothers say, “‘Cherry Cola’ is about that nostalgic, idealistic kind of love that we all dream of when we are young. It’s about looking at that one person through rose-colored glasses, and feeling all your worries wash away.”

Kuwada is currently at work on their debut EP for Columbia Records, and fans can see the duo perform live at Brooklyn’s Elsewhere on August 4. Tickets and additional info are available HERE.
