Sean Penn & Kid Rock In Public Service Film "Americans"

Yesterday multi-genred Rock star Kid Rock released a short film called “Americans” via his website and You Tube.  The 11 minute short film stars Rock and actor and known liberal activist, Sean Penn.  The film is described as a public service film designed to remind Americans how truly special our country is in a very politically divided time.  We love the film’s encouragement of unity and awareness of different points of view.  It is the perfect reminder of the fact that, although people have political beliefs that are different from ours, all they are is people just like us.  The film has adult language and is targeted to those that are of voting age.  That being said, we feel it is a statement that is truly special.  We salute Mr. Rock and Mr. Penn for what appears to be nothing less than a sincere act of patriotism.

“Americans” was directed by Jameson Stafford and executive produced by Kid Rock himself.  Naturally, the music used in the film is handled by Rock and friends as well.  The songs featured in the very detailed film include his 2010 stand out “Born Free”, his staple classic, “American Bad Ass”, and “Smile” by his long time friend and DJ, Uncle Kracker.  Kid currently plans to release his 11th studio album Rebel Soul via Top Dog/Atlantic Records on November 19th.  Enjoy the film.
