When it comes to the to songs about the summer, there’s  nothing better than a tune about southern California! No matter if its Tupac and Dr. Dre showing “California Love”, or the Beach Boys before them calling all the “California Gurls”, it is without a doubt a formula for a summertime hit! Katy Perry continues this tradition for 2010. She teamed up with California’s own Snoop Dogg to help put together another Cali classic The song is an Electro-Pop dance track with the trademark Max Martin/Dr. Luke/Benny Blanco smoothness who all got together to make the production. It is the first single from Katy’s third studio album, Teenage Dream from Capitol Records/EMI. Other producers on the album will imclude, Greg Wells, Ryan Tedder of OneRepublic and Katy herself.
