Joe Jonas: Are You Ready For “The Fastlife”?
At the end of last week, we at Clizbeats.com (Craig and Matt Clizbe) were among some very lucky fans that got to see Joe Jonas finish up his solo tour in New York City. After we interviewed Joe’s tour mates, Jay Sean and Jojo, we watched all three of them perform for a sold out crowd at the Best Buy Theatre in Times Square. We all got to see Joe team up with his brother, Kevin, as they performed a medley of Jonas Brothers’ hits, as well as Joe’s new song, “I’m Sorry.”
Even though Kevin was on stage to support his brother, the sound they were playing is far from what you would hear at your typical Jonas Brothers’ concert. Joe’s solo music has a sound similar to if you would take various songs from Justin Timberlake and Chris Brown, and mixed them together. With that said, that actually makes a lot of sense because the album’s primary producers, Rob Knox and Danja both have worked with Timberlake on various productions. (Rob Knox is a member of a production group with JT, The Y’s, and Danja produced along side Timbaland and Timberlake on his 2006 album, FutureSex/LoveSound. Also Chris Brown worked with Joe to co-write the album’s first single, “See No More” with producer, Brian Kennedy. Kennedy has worked Chris on songs like “Forever” (Co-produced by Polow Da Don) and “Disturbia.” (written for Rihanna) If you haven’t heard these songs yet, take a look at the complete track listing below.

As you can see, One of the recently added tracks to the album, is the remix to the Rob Knox produced, “Just In Love.” That remix features one of Joe’s favorite Hip Hop artists, Lil’ Wayne, who actually has been supportive of The Jonas Brothers as well. On October 3rd, Joe called into KIIS FM’s, On Air With Ryan Seacrest to talk about how that remix came together, and how he and Wayne first met. The remix to the single was then put on sale by Hollywood Records the following day.
