We wanted to take a moment to spotlight one of the fastest building feel good songs of the summer.  The song is called “Good Time” by indie electro Pop stand out Owl City and Canada’s Reigning princess of Pop music Carly Rae Jepsen.  The song made a viral debut via Twitter and Soundcloud at the end of last month.  That debut turned out to be the beginning of a snowball effect of acclaim.  It wasn’t long until the buzz for the track began to build for fans both inside and outside the music industry.  The song penned by Relient K frontman Matthew  Thiessen, Brian Lee, and Owl City himself made its managed to rank in at number 18 on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart for the week of 4th of July Weekend.  We feel pretty confident that it’s going to continue to be a sumer time staple.

“Good Time” was jointly released by Universal Republic, School Boy, and Interscope Records, with Carly and Owl City.  Reports tell us that the it is the lead single to Owls upcoming album The Midsummer Station. We’ll keep you posted as more details about the release are made available.  Check out “Good Time” below.
