#ICYMI: Will Smith Talks New Music With Kanye West

If you’re anything like us, today marks the beginning of your “Big Willie Weekend” in honor of Will Smith’s highly anticipated new movie Focus. Following the box office misstep of After Earth, Mr. Smith has turned up his blockbuster swag, doing all the press necessary to get the word out on his new flick. For a star of his status, this was no surprise. what was a surprise was him dropping hints about getting back into music. During his recent appearance on the nationally syndicated On Air With Ryan Seacrest radio show, Will revealed that he has been experimenting with Kanye West on new music. “I’ve recorded a lot,” Smith continued to explain to Hollyscoop at the Focus red carpet première. “I don’t have anything I like yet, but I’ve recorded seven or eight [songs]. It’s not for certain. It’s just explorative.”

We don’t know about you, but we’ll happily wait on new music from Will “Fresh Prince” Smith while we munch our popcorn and check out Focus.
