#ICYMI: Lil Wayne Threatens Scooter Braun

Above Video Content Features Explicit Language

This past holiday weekend wasn’t without its drama, and the Hip Hop world has more than its share of it. One of the more unexpected stories to surface was Lil Wayne’s very explicitly expressed beef with Justin Bieber’s manager Scooter Braun. As TMZ reports, Wayne recently posted a video of him cursing Scooter out for talking bad about his Young Money label signee, Lil Twist. In the video Wayne goes hard, calling Braun a “bitchass n***a” for talking s*** about Twist … and said he’s gonna “put them bitches on your tombstone.”

As many of you are likely to assume, Wayne’s very angry attack is in reaction to Scooter’s publically reported disapproval of Justin’s friendship with Lil Twist. Braun A great example of this is when TMZ learned from sources inside Scooter’s camp that Bieb’s manager was “putting his foot down. In the story, which TMZ broke last August, private sources revealed that Scooter was insisting that Twist was “nothing but a parasite sucking Bieber dry.” Scooter apparently wanted his troubled star singer to “drop him like a hot potato stat … before he does any more damage.”

Looking at it from the outside in, it isn’t hard to see why Braun might feel this way. Following the release of his Believe album, JB has become much better known for making choices that go from bad to worse, and is now viewed as unlikeable by much of the over all public. It’s hard to say why Wayne is responding so aggressively to these indirect remarks so many months after the story broke, but as Wayne indicates in the video, Bieb spends a lot of time with different people from Wayne’s YMCMB crew, and was just in Paris with him.

Perhaps the rap star was discussing the incident of disapproval in detail with Bieb and Twist while traveling? There have been rumors that Justin has wanted to leave his current label Island Records to then sign with Waynes Young Money Entertainment. Maybe Wayne’s heated because Scooter’s disapproval would naturally make such a business move very difficult? Just taking an educated guess with that one.  Only an insider would know for sure.

There’s no speculation in Wayne’s video tapped threat though. Watch it and you’ll know what we mean for sure. We’ll keep you posted as new details develop. In the mean time you can get in the YMCMB spirit by listening to Lil Wayne’s “Believe Me” featuring Drake. The song is listed as the first single from Wayne’s up coming The Carter V.
