#ICYMI: Ed Sheeran Sings “Hands of Gold” In Game Of Thrones Cameo
In case you missed it, Ed Sheeran made a cameo on the Game of Thrones Season 7 premiere last night. As you can see from the above video, the “Shape Of You” singer was heard sitting around a campfire with a crew of Lannisters, eating rabbit and crooning an unofficial tune called “Hands of Gold.” The song first appeared in A Storm of Swords, George R.R. Martin’s 2000 installment of the Song of Ice and Fire series.
“For hands of gold are always cold, but a woman’s hands are warm,” Sheeran sang, as Arya Stark happened upon the dining Lannister clan. “It’s a new one,” the musician explained in close-up.
