#ICYMI: Carson Daly Gets The Inside Scoop on The 24K Magic That Is Bruno Mars’ New Album
Hot off the recent headline that his smash collaboration with producer Mark Ronson, “Uptown Funk” has earned the rare certification of diamond, Bruno Mars continues to burn up the media as he roll out the heat from his latest album 24K Magic. The 9 track deep album’s title track and lead single debuted this week at No. 5 on the Billboard Hot 100, marking Mars’ highest debut to date and his 13th Hot 100 Top 10. Mars achieved this fantastic launch following a live debut on this past weekend’s episode of Saturday Night Live and the momentum has been electric ever since. The boost of the NBC airwaves has fans feeling “Chunky” and funky after hearing the debut of his song “Chunky” as song 2 on the SNL stage. One of his biggest “Chunky” lovin’ fans that has been showering him with praise is none other than radio/TV personality Carson Daly. In case you missed it, The Voice host recently welcomed Mars to his 97.1 AMP Radio studio to hear all about the 24K Magic that is this new album.
Carson gushed like a true fan, getting as many details as he could. Although few specifics were revealed, Mars did go on record saying that he thought it was his best album yet.
