#ICYMI Alyson Stoner Shows She Can Still “Work It” In New Missy Elliott Tribute Video
Alyson Stoner In Missy Elliott’s “Work It” Music Video If kids didn’t know who Missy Elliott was when Katy Perry brought her out during the Super Bowl half time show, actress Alyson Stoner is going to make sure they never forget her. You may remember Alyson as the little girl who famously made appearances in Missy’s three music videos for her hit singles, “Work It” (2002), “Gossip Folks” (2003), and “I’m Really Hot.” (2004) She just published a pretty cool dance video as a tribute to Missy that shows she may be all grown up now, but she’s still got it! In the video Alyson is seen getting down to a medley of the three songs that she danced to in those music videos, and it is awesome! However, this should come as no surprise to anyone who followed Alyson’s career.
Since being Missy’s go-to girl with the dance moves in the early 2000s, Alyson continued to work on her craft, developing her own resume in dance, acting, and even some music. She has famously made a name for herself playing the role of Caitlyn Gellar in the Disney Channel original movies, Camp Rock (2008), and Camp Rock 2 (2010) along side The Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato. She also appeared as Camille Gage in 3 of the films in the Step Up film series. She first appeared in the original Step Up in 2006, then the series’ third film, Step Up 3D in 2010, and then Step Up All In, in 2014. She also made a name for herself as a voice actress. She most notably appeared as Barbra Gordon/Batgirl in DC Entertainment/Warner Bros. Animation’s Young Justice from 2011-2013.
