Have You Heard Maroon 5’s “Maps” Yet?
Maroon 5 “Maps” Interscope RecordsGrammy Award winning band, Maroon 5 is back with new music! Yesterday the guys released their new single, “Maps” on all Clear Channel stations on the hour every hour. This is to help get their fans ready for the band’s fifth album, V, which hits stores officially on September 2nd and will be the first of the bands to be released jointly by Interscope Records and Adam Levine’s label, 222 Records. “Maps” was written by Levine, Max Martin, Shellback, along with Ryan Tedder of OneRepublic. Ryan, Max and the guys also serve as the primary producers for the album. This is the same team who famously helped Maroon 5 reinvent their sound on 2012’s Overexposed album.
With Maroon 5’s Adam Levine still having a large presence on NBC’s The Voice we are sure that there will be some great surprises for TV and music fans that may involve Maroon 5 in the near future. One of those surprises came early when Ryan Seacrest was interviewing Adam on his syndicated radio show yesterday. In that conversation Ryan got Adam to admit that the album will feature a special guest appearance by new Voice coach, Gwen Stefani! Could we see a possible collaboration between Maroon 5 and the other new Voice judge, Pharrell Williams? Only time will tell.
