Harry Styles Of One Direction Goes In A New Direction With New Manager Jeffrey Azoff

It looks like Harry Styles is getting ready to go in a different direction away from the other guys of One Direction. Billboard.com reported yesterday that reports were coming in saying that Harry has left the group’s longtime management team of, Modest Management. Harry is reportedly now signed with CAA’s Jeffrey Azoff, ison of iconic music executive/manager, Irving Azoff. Modest Management executives Richard Griffiths and Harry Magee confirmed this news when wished Harry well in a statement.
“We wish Harry the very best. It has been a real pleasure working with him,” they said. “Harry is a total gentleman, and we know our good friend Jeffrey Azoff will look after him.”
It looks like this is step one of Harry’s now increasingly more public steps towards a solo career. This report comes right after a source close to Styles told The Sun about his intention of trying something brand new on his own. “he wants to completely disassociate with [One Direction] and that includes any professional connection.” The source told the British tabloid. Does this mean he is taking a page out of former band-mate, Zayn’s playbook and leaving Simon Cowell’s Syco Music? We will let you know that answer as soon as we learn anything new. However what we can remind you is that Harry has been working on branching out on his own for quite some time. Our readers may remember that we previously reported that OneRepublic front-man and producer, Ryan Tedder had also told The Guardian in a April 2014 interboew that he worked with Harry on some solo material. At the time Tedder was unsure of what would become of that music, but maybe we will be hearing it soon? In that same post that we published on July 22nd, 2015, that Harry was also the first 1D member to write for other artists. His fans already know that he had previously written for Ariana Grande, and also co-written with Gavin Degraw. A new and improved Harry Styles is probably something fans will see and hear in the very near future. Stay tuned for details!
