A memorial service was held in Nashville yesterday, Wednesday, May 23rd, in honor of Disco queen Donna Summer.    The service was attended by close friends and family.  While attending, famed producer and composer, David Foster notably joined Natalie Grant to perform “The Prayer” as part of their tribute to the late singer.  Donna’s four sister also reportedly sang “We’ve Come This Far By Faith” as part of their personal  memorial to her.

Since her death on May 17th, her Donna Summer’s On the Radio: Greatest Hits Volumes I & II reportedly went to number 73 on Billboard’s Top 200 album sales chart.  Her Endless Summer: Donna Summer’s Greatest Hits has reached the  number 90 mark, and The Journey: The Very Best of Donna Summer has ranked in at number 95, with another Greatest Hits reportedly reaching 194 spot.  Summer also posthumously sold 87,000 digital downloads last week.  Of those downloads, the two best sellers were, “On the Radio,” and “Last Dance”.
