Fans Want White House TO Send Weird Al To The Super Bowl

Weird Al Yankovic has made a big spash with his recently released album Mandatory Fun, and now that the record has gone number 1 on the Billboard 200, the parody singer’s fans have started a petition to get him to perform at the up coming Super Bowl.  Foot Ball fan Ed Ball has enlisted to petition the White House, asking them to step in and recommend to the NFL that they enlist Yankovic to play as the headliner for its 2015 halftime show.  The Washington resident lays out the case for his petition in the quote below.

“For decades Weird Al has entertained fans, young and old, with his popular clever parodies and unique sense of humor. Having him headline the Super XLIX Halftime show would not only be overly accepted by the millions of views, but it would remain true to the standards and quality of the show business we have come to love and respect out of this prestigious event.”

Thousands have already signed the petition. Are you interested in seeing Weird Al rock the Super bowl stage? Click here and join the movement. We’ll see what happens!
