Drake’s current  album Take Care is full of reflection, with him noticeably trying to come to terms with where he is in life, and how being a celebrity has effected him in both good and bad ways. While this made for great art, it has been described by some, including himself to be a bit moody.  Well, Drake reviled plans to shift his mood for his next album during recent talks with Billboard magazine.

“I think my mood will be reflected in the tempos I choose for the music. A lot of Take Care, it’s down… and I think a lot of it had to do with being back in Toronto, getting reacquainted with the life I had before (fame) and difficulties with that, and at the same time trying to express excitement, express joy…”

“Now I’m in a very, very, very, very different place than I’ve ever been, really focused on myself, really focused on my health, my body, my mind, really wanting to be the best I can possibly be…I’m in a different mindset now that I’m very proud of… It’s going to be a very interesting album — probably, to be honest with you, conceptually one of the most exciting projects I’ve worked on, just ’cause there’s so many new things going on in my life.”

It will certainly be interesting to what he comes up with.  In the mean time, fans can find Drake on the road performing dates of his Club Paradise Tour.  Big names joining Drake on his Club Paradise Tour include, J. Cole, Waka Flocka Flame, Meek Mill, 2 Chainz, and French Montana. The Rappertold MTV News, that the show has a “festival vibe”.

“it’s outdoors, it’s summertime … I want people to make it a day.”

Sounds like a good time.
