DJ Earworm’s The United States Of Pop 2012 (Shine Brighter): Happy New Year From Clizbeats.com!!
Happy new year everybody! Everyone at Clizbeats Productions and Clizbeats.com are getting ready to serve up some cool content for all our readers and fans in 2013! But as we are gearing things up for you, we thought it would be appropriate to kick off the year with the tradition of sharing with you the latest edition of DJ Earworm’s, The United States Of Pop. As millions of music lovers already know, The United States Of Pop is retrospective mega mix of Billboard’s Top 25 songs of the year that he mixes together, and releases with enough time at the end of the year to have an impact on New Year’s Eve celebrations. The San Francisco DJ has released these mixes every year since the first one went viral and received radio play all around the country in 2007. Since then each mix has come with an accompanying sub title based on the theme behind the mix’s mood. This continues with another great effort of editing, sampling and mixing for 2012’s mix, appropriately titled, “The United State of Pop 2012 (Shine Brighter)”
The mashup was finished on December 15, 2012 and premiered on Virgin Radio in Canada. It is the shortest mashup in the United State of Pop series, and is the second to not follow the Billboard Top 25 exactly. This is because Earworm has used backing track samples of song’s that were released and charted in previous years, but continued to have an impact in 2012. The 2011 mix also features hits released and charted in 2010 as well. No matter what the small details like that may be, every year DJ Earworm’s mixes continue to impress us all, and Clizbeats is excited to share the latest one with you!
