Creed Frontman Discusses Alcoholism, Child Abuse, And Suicide Attempt In New Memoir
Creed frontman Scott Stapp has announced his plans to writie a tell all memoir that will be called Sinner’s Creed. In the book Stapp discusses suicide attempt, alcoholism, and revealing having an abusive childhood.
“The book describes my childhood, my internal battle with drugs and depression and how I lost control of my life,” said Stapp in a statement announcing the memoir. “My memoir reveals never before released details about my life and the challenges I’ve faced before coming to grips and finding sobriety.”
The book was written with Rolling Stone Magazine writer David Ritz. Prior to writing with Stapp, Ritz had made a career writing books on notable music R&B legends Janet Jackson and Marvin Gaye. Sinner’s Creed is set to be released on October 2nd.
