THE CREATORS OF “SUICIDE SQUAD: THE ALBUM,” TEAM UP AGAIN FOR “BRIGHT: THE ALBUM”
Atlantic Records and David Ayer, the creative minds behind the massively successful soundtrack “SUICIDE SQUAD: THE ALBUM,” are back in the lab again, brewing what’s sure to be another groundbreaking collection of hit songs – this time to accompany NETFLIX’s hugely-anticipated original film BRIGHT, directed by David Ayer and starring Will Smith and Joel Edgerton, coming this December.
The announcement of “BRIGHT: THE ALBUM” comes on the heels of NETFLIX’s world premiere of the first trailer for BRIGHT at San Diego Comic-Con earlier today. The trailer will give viewers the first taste of the palette and undertones of the exclusive new music being created for BRIGHT, which – like “SUICIDE SQUAD: THE ALBUM” – is sure to be another seamless fusion of music into the DNA of a film.

Set in an alternate present-day, this action-thriller directed by David Ayer (Suicide Squad, End of Watch, writer of Training Day) follows two cops from very different backgrounds. Ward, a human (Will Smith), and Jakoby, an orc (Joel Edgerton), embark on a routine night patrol that will alter the future of their world as they know it. Battling both their own personal differences as well as an onslaught of enemies, they must work together to protect a deadly, thought-to-be-forgotten relic, which in the wrong hands could destroy everything. www.netflix.com/bright
