Chris Brown: Probation Revoked & On New Psyc Drugs

Chris Brown Recent Appearence In Court

Chris Brown hit a new milestone in his court proceedings. Yesterday he attended a hearing that stems back to an assault charge in October. After TMZ broke the story about the assault, the LA County Probation department launched an investigation against Brown. That felony charge, which was later reduced to a misdemeanor, made the judge handling his 2009 Rihanna assault case decide to revoke his probation. Brown hasn’t been put in custody because the judge is also impressed with the progress that the singer has made with his anger management rehab.

This doesn’t mean he’s out of trouble. The judge plans revisit the matter during another hearing in February. Following further evaluation, Brown could be sentenced to time in prison. Until that decision is made, he has been instructed to reframe from using marijuana, even if it is for medical purposes.

Chris was using medical marijuana to help him through a weekly anger management boot camp. Additionally, Brown has completed a 12-hour course intended to enhance his ability to trust people. His clinical team reports that he’s been switched to new psychiatric drugs that are working for him. It has been noted that his ability to “emotionally regulate himself” has markedly improved.
