Chris brown turned himself in to LA county jail a day early yesterday in regards to his hit and run charge from back in June. According to TMZ, Brown was booked and released on his own recognizance without bail ahead of schedule as part of his lawyer Mark Geragos’ effort to help him avoid photographers. This was done because Rapper 50 Cent wasn’t so lucky. Only hours earlier the same court house was packed with photographers trying to get shots of 50.
50 Cent, whose real name is Curtis Jackson pled not guilty to domestic violence charges that also happened back in June. Jackson was charged with attacking model Daphne Joy. According to TMZ, Joy is the alleged mother of his second child. The judge ordered that he stay at least 100 yards away from her at all times, and that he must turn in all his guns.
50 was charged with kicking Joy, and destroying property at her LA condo. 50 has not publically acknowledged the child. He is expected back in court next month.
As previously reported, Brown’s hit and run charge revoked his probation that was related to his own now infamous domestic violence situation that involved the beating of then girlfriend Rihanna. He tweeted the following about it all earlier this morning.
“Being famous is amazing when it’s for your music and talent. I’m tired of being famous for a mistake I made when I was 18. I’m cool & over it.”
