Check Out Simple Plan’s “Get Your Heart On”!

Atlantic recording group Simple Plan has just released their highly anticipated album, “GET YOUR HEART ON!^“.  The  first single “Jet Lag” features guest vocals from global superstar Natasha Bedingfield.  .

Simple Plan’s first new release in over two years, “GET YOUR HEART ON!” was produced by Brian Howes (Boys Like Girls, Skillet, Hinder), and finds the multiplatinum Montreal-based quintet accompanied by an all-star lineup of special guests, including All Time Low’s Alex Gaskarth, Somali/Canadian rapper K’Naan, and Rivers Cuomo, who co-wrote and performs on the album’s infectious song, “Can’t Keep My Hands Off You.”  The track made its premiere on Entertainment Weekly’s companion website in April, and is featured in the Walt Disney Pictures film, Prom. 

Always exhilarating live performers, Simple Plan celebrated the release of “GET YOUR HEART ON!” with a special album release concert at New York City’s Gramercy Theatre on June 21st. Simple Plan has earned widespread acclaim and a global fan following for their inventive, genre-defying blend of classic punk energy and modern pop sonics.  Since coming together nearly a decade ago, the Montreal-based combo has achieved worldwide sales in excess of 7 million, with releases including 2002’s RIAA 2x-platinum debut, “NO PADS, NO HELMETS…JUST BALLS,” 2004’s platinum-certified follow-up, “STILL NOT GETTING ANY,” and 2005’s “MTV HARD ROCK LIVE.”

The band’s most recent album, 2008’s “SIMPLE PLAN,” proved an international blockbuster upon its release, reaching the No. 1 spot on the iTunes Store’s “Top Pop Albums” chart while also scoring top 3 successes in Mexico, Brazil, Japan, and the band’s native Canada.  Furthermore, the album premiered in the top 10 in such far-away lands as Hong Kong, Sweden, Austria, Switzerland, Australia, and Germany, with top 20 debuts in Spain, Finland, and France.
