(New York, New York) Fresh off of the success of their new mixtape, Moon Tower, 2AM Club releaseed their new single “Not Your Boyfriend” on iTunes earlier this month. “Not Your Boyfriend” was written by the band, Drew Pearson (Katy Perry/One Republic) and Stephen Wrabel (Adam Lambert). It was also produced by Drew Pearson. The song has shipped to radio and will be featured on their upcoming yet to be titled sophomore album due out later this year.
At the end of March 2AM Club released their mixtape, Moon Tower, presented by Clinton Sparks which already has over 40K downloads and 183K streams. The Moon Tower is a house owned by Soleil Moon-Frye in Hollywood, California where the band lived for five months writing and recording. Bro Bible states, “Moon Tower is a must-listen, and will undoubtedly be making the rounds as spring begins and everybody scrambles to make those essential “Chill” and “Rager” playlists.”
2AM Club consists of vocalists Marc Griffin and Tyler Cordy, guitarist Matt Reagan, keyboard player Dave Dalton and bassist Matt Warshauer, AKA “Sauce.” The band came together in Los Angeles in 2007 and began working on their debut album, What Did You Think Was Going To Happen? which was released in 2010. During that year, the band spent much of the time perfecting their live show sharing the stage with the likes of Big Sean, Mike Posner, Chiddy Bang and many more. They made their late night television debut on Lopez Tonight and were named MTV’s PUSH (Play Until Someone Hears) Artist of the Week. They were also featured performers on an episode of ABC Family’s hit show Pretty Little Liars. The band spent most of 2012 recording for their upcoming album.
