Carson Daly Gushes About His Long Time Friendship With Shakira On AMP Radio

Way back in 1998, Carson Daly’s lawyer told him about a young, Colombian pop star who was about to cross over into the American market in a big, big way.

Her name was Shakira and within just a few months, she shattered records with her breakthrough single, “Whenever, Wherever.”

It was only just the beginning of her global takeover and 16 years later, Carson and Shak’s paths have crossed again on the hit reality show, The Voice.
